Prohibited items

1. Items that can never be listed

• Stolen goods, or anything you can’t prove you’re entitled to sell. Phones reported lost or stolen, or blacklisted by their network, included.
• Counterfeit, cloned or “super copy” items passed off as genuine, including fake phones and fake branded goods.
• Illegal drugs, controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
• Firearms, ammunition, explosives and other weapons.
• Forged or fraudulent documents, IDs, certificates, currency or vouchers, and stolen or cloned cards and accounts.
• Items that exploit people or are illegal to own or sell in Nigeria, including anything involving human trafficking or endangered wildlife.

2. Items we may remove or restrict

• Devices that are locked to an account or network (for example iCloud-locked phones) without clear disclosure.
• Items that are unsafe, recalled, or too large or hazardous to hand over safely at a Vault.
• Listings for services, jobs, “investments”, or anything that isn’t a physical item you can hand over for inspection.
• Used items that can’t be inspected or tested in person.

SecMart’s escrow and Vault handoff is built for physical goods that a buyer can inspect on the spot.

3. Listing rules

• Use photos of the exact item, and show any faults.
• Don’t ask buyers to pay outside SecMart, to contact you off-platform to “get a better price”, or to share their pickup or release codes.
• Don’t post the same item many times, or post items you don’t have.

4. What happens if you break the rules

We may remove the listing, hold or refund related orders, suspend the account and, where the law requires or fraud is involved, pass details to the authorities. Our Terms explain this in more detail.
